Sayma Chakchouk

I was born and raised in Tunisia, an Arabic speaking country that has French as a second language. Growing up bilingual and then becoming multilingual later in my life opened so many doors for me. I am a native speaker of Arabic, a near native speaker of French, which I started speaking at 8 years old, and a fluent speaker of English which I learned in high school, college and then living in the United States since 2016. I have always had a passion for languages, I chose to major in English linguistics for my undergraduate studies, and then chose to switch back to French for my graduate studies. I graduated from Southern Connecticut State University in 2020 with a Masters degree in Romance Languages/French. I am currently a preschool teacher, an adjunct professor of French at Southern Connecticut State University and I am very happy to be part of the team of Aux 3 Pommes as a teacher of French, I am also a dedicated full time mother of two. I will gladly assist anyone who is willing to learn French as a new language, or to refresh their memory in written or conversational French.
