My name is Valeria, I’m Brazilian born and raised, and my native language is Portuguese. I did a Technical Teaching High School, got a college degree in Pedagogy, then pursued a Post-graduation in Psychopedagogy in São Paulo State, Brazil. I worked as teacher at the Elementary Public Schools for both kids and adult students, and then worked as a School Principal for a Nursery–Kindergarten Public School in Brazil. In other words, education has been part of who I am!
I’ve been living in the US for 12 years, and since I moved, I have been focusing on raising my two kids, daughter (27) and son (22), who speak and write fluently in Portuguese and English, and I have been working and volunteering as a Bach Flower & Reiki Practitioner in the meantime. Now, that my kids have grown up, I am so excited to be using my professional foundation in education as a Portuguese teacher.
