Mandarin Teacher
I was born in Changchun, China, and I have loved language and science since I was a child. I came to the US after my college graduation to pursue a PhD in Chemistry at State University of New York at Binghamton, I also obtained a Ed.M. degree in Columbia University. With my passion in teaching Chinese, I obtained a certificate of completion with distinction in the TCSOL (Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages) program at Teachers College in Columbia University. I have around two years’ experience in teaching mandarin to students from pre-K to adults, and it’s my great pleasure to teach at Aux3Pommes, which provides effective learning environment for learners of all ages in multiple locations and online.
I hold myself to the same standards that I hold my student: I believe becoming a skilled thinker and learner is a life-long process, and that I hope I can learn just as much from my students as they can learn from me.
