I grew up in Germany and moved to the Shoreline in 2009. I studied law at the University in Goettingen, Germany, obtained my doctoral law degree and practiced as an attorney until I moved to Bar Harbor, Maine with my family. Moving to Guilford in 2015 gave me the opportunity to volunteer for the historical societies where I found my love for teaching history and hands-on workshops at Early Guilford Days. I decided to become a German teacher because I love teaching and I love the German language. I am dedicated to teaching students of any age and finding the right curriculum and material for the students is very important to me and also great fun. I have been teaching classes at A1 and A2 level and additionally preparing my own children for official German language tests at B1, B2 and C1 level that are required to study at a German University. Additionally I have been teaching young children how to read and write German. I am looking forward to teaching your children as well.
