Hugo Vannobel

Bonjour tout le monde !

My name is Hugo, and I come from a country known for its buttery croissants, philosophical debates, and a language that’s as elegant as it is expressive, France! I was born and raised in France, where I grew up surrounded by a culture that values words and a good conversation over a long meal. From a young age, I developed a deep understanding of the French language. Not just as a means of communication, but as a way of seeing the world. Eventually, life brought me across the Atlantic Ocean to the United States, where I’ve embraced a new chapter full of adventure, discovery, and connection. Living abroad has only strengthened my love for my native language and culture, and today, I’m passionate about sharing that with others. Teaching French is, for me, more than just grammar and vocabulary. It’s about bringing a bit of France into the classroom, the sounds, the spirit, the charm, and maybe even a few jokes along the way! France is where my roots are. America is where I’ve grown. And teaching is how I bring the two together. I can’t wait to help my students fall in love with French. One word (and baguette) at a time!
