Walaa Akach

Marhaba I was born in Damascus Syria and immigrated to the United States when I was ten years old. My parents instilled the love for the Arabic language in my heart. At the age of fourteen, I was helping my mother teach younger students their Alif, Baa, Taa.  As years passed and I grew my own family, I had the same passion and determination to pass that love along. As a Registered Dental Hygienist having another language up my sleeve gave me the opportunity to meet and help many in need. I love traveling and learning about different cultures as well as sharing my own! I enjoy teaching and truly believe no two students are the same.

I began my journey with A3P as an Arabic and ESL teacher. From the start, Marie-José recognized my potential and gave me the opportunity to take on a leadership role. Under her guidance, I had the privilege of learning firsthand what it means to lead with dedication, passion, and vision. The love she poured into this school is truly unmatched, and it continues to inspire everything we do. Today, I am honored to serve as the Director of A3P. While I know I have big shoes to fill, I am committed to carrying forward the values and excellence instilled by our founder.
