"Aux 3 Pommes has had a huge impact on my children. My daughter, Caroline, who is eight years old, has taken french lessons since she was three years old. For the first two years she attended the immersion program and has taken lessons after school ever since. My son, Charlie, who is five, is following the same pattern as my daughter. Caroline is fluent in the language and has been for several years. Charlie is quickly coming along as well with his fluency. With the wonderful program and caring, fabulous teachers at Aux 3 Pommes, my children enjoy their classes and look forward to their "french day". The teachers make it fun for them to learn through songs, games, putting on plays etc. Enrolling my children in a second language at such a young age was one of the best things I have done for them. They have absorbed the language quickly like little sponges, and their accents are true to the natives of France. Speaking a second language has given Caroline and Charlie self confidence, has boosted their self esteem, and has become a truly important part of the development of their lives. I would highly recommend starting your own children in a language at Aux 3 Pommes."

"I believe the key components to children learning a language are having fun and to share their experiences with their friends. Children should begin learning another language at a very young age and they should be exposed to that language several times a week. Children need teachers who encourage friendships and support a safe, stimulating environment. This is exactly whatAux 3 Pommes accomplishes.
I love the school because my children don't complain about going. They are enthusiastic about class and about speaking Spanish. I am confident that the friendships they have formed will endure a very long time. The teachers are very giving, warm people. They are competent language instructors who are innovative in their approach to teaching and who go beyond what is expected of them. The teachers are receptive to parental suggestions and they try to include the whole family in supporting the student. The building, itself, is cozy and cheerfully decorated."

"I am amazed to see how much my children have accomplished at Aux 3 Pommes--my 6-year old daughter is speaking French almost fluently, and I believe that she is actually reading and writing in French at a more advanced level than she is currently reading and writing in English!
The teachers at Aux 3 Pommes are native speakers with a gift for teaching foreign languages to children. They are able to engage all of the students and make the classes fun while immersing the students in the target language. While the focus is clearly language acquisition, the classes are structured in such a way that the children also develop their social interaction skills. In addition, they are exposed through the target language to elements of music, poetry, history, culture, mathematics, reading and writing, and arts and crafts, providing them with an ideal interdisciplinary educational experience.
Aux 3 Pommes is an incredible asset to the Connecticut Shoreline community and I believe it is a terrific bargain--my children have received much more from this program than I ever could have expected. I have no doubt that my children are more mature and well-spoken than they would be if they did not have the benefit of two languages in which to think and express themselves. I know that the future my children can expect to enjoy is so much better because of all they have experienced at Aux 3 Pommes, and no words can ever capture my sense of gratitude."
