My name is 杨帆 (Yang Fan) in Mandarin, but I'm known as Fani in English. I teach Mandarin here at Aux 3 Pommes! I graduated from Smith College and majored in East Asian Languages and Literature with a focus in Chinese. I was adopted from China when I was five and have lived in Connecticut since then. I was able to do some teaching at a Chinese Immersion school during my senior year. Although I have not been teaching the language for long, I have had other experiences teaching. I really enjoy the aspects of learning as I teach. As we come to find out, every student is different and it is a challenge but also a joy to come up with new and fun ways to engage each student
