I was born and grew up in Austria, in mountainous Tyrol. I majored in Dresden, Germany at University of Music "Carla Maria von Weber" in Music Pedagogy for Jazz Vocals and Choir Leading. Being interested in supporting language skills and speech development, I conceptualized and implemented a program for Dresden’s communal daycare centers and pre-schools, which has been successfully running now for the past 3 years.

At school, I learned English, French, Latin and Spanish. I also make use of these skills in my musical projects reaching from Jazz and Salsa formations, a French/Italian/Spanish Pop combo, an African music ensemble to Contemporary Music. Yes, I can yodel.I started teaching individual lessons for vocal students in 2006 and led several choir projects in Dresden. I moved to New Haven in 2013 and started as a German teacher at Aux 3 Pommes for students of all ages.
