Anne-Françoise Bewley
Bonjour tout le monde!
I grew up in Brussels and my first language is French. It is there that I met my husband, an American, and his career brought us to Connecticut.
When the parents of our four children's friends expressed interest in French instruction for their children, I started organizing small classes at our home. This was almost 20 years ago. Since then, I have had the opportunity to teach in several French programs, such as those offered by the Shoreline Foundation, the Shoreline School of Montessori, the A.W. Cox before school care.
This "accidental" career path has been very rewarding. I see it as an extension of motherhood and I love sharing my language an culture with children and adult students. Over the years, I have also enjoyed looking for books and new material on my trip back and forth to Belgium, designing games to interest the students and attending conferences on the teaching of foreign languages.
I am happy to be part of the dynamic team of Aux 3 Pommes and I am always looking forward to meeting all my students.
